TPS starts the year with record shipments of cherries to Asia aboard Manzanillo Express

The ‘Manzanillo Express’ or ‘Cherry Express’ in this occasion, a state-of-the-art 2022-built 13,300 TEU container ship managed by Capital-Executive Ship Management, played a pivotal role in Terminal Pacifico Sur Valparaíso's (TPS) record shipment of refrigerated containers, mainly cherries, to Asia for the Lunar New Year celebrations. Measuring 335 meters, the vessel’s impressive capacity and advanced features were instrumental in efficiently transporting 1,612 x 40ft refrigerated containers, marking a significant achievement for the Port of Valparaíso.
